Travel Grants
National – The Movement disorders society is pleased to offer travel bursaries to ten bright young researchers working in the field of movement disorders, to facilitate their attendance for this meeting. For applying for the travel grant the delegates should be less than 40 years of age, should be an Indian citizen, and should be presenting author of an accepted abstract for the conference. The travel bursaries will include complimentary registration for the conference, and a consolidated sum of 200 USD (its equivalent in Indian rupees) only. The delegates should apply separately to the conference secretariat for the travel grants in the available form. The required documents for applying are application form for the bursary- duly filled, documentary evidence of the proof of age, photograph, proof of abstract submission/ acceptance, and brief curriculum vitae (mentioning clearly the educational qualification, the research projects they are involved in the awards and medals received and a list of research publications). The applications for travel grants, duly forwarded by the departmental heads/ guide menter/ employers of the delegate should reach the conference secretariat before 1700 hrs on 31st December 2008 failing which the applications will not be considered. Please note that no application will be entertained before the online abstract submission begins and the decision of the organizing committee for the travel grants would be final and binding on all.
 
International – Applications are invited from ten young researchers working on movement disorders for international travel bursaries granted by the Movement Disorders Society. These bursaries are for the delegates from the underprivileged countries to facilitate their attendance to this meeting. The travel bursaries includes complimentary registration of the delegate, and a consolidated sum of 800 USD. The delegates, who apply for this bursary should be working in the field of movement disorders, should be less than 40 yrs of age and should be presenting author of an accepted abstract for the conference. The delegates should apply separately for the travel bursaries for the conference in the prescribed form. Their application should be on the prescribed application form, accompanied by the photograph of the delegates, the copy of their passport, the affiliation certificate from their institute, their brief curriculum vitae (mentioning clearly the research area they are involved in, their education qualifications, their awards/medals, and a list of their research publications). The applications have to be duly forwarded by the departmental heads/employers of the delegates and should reach the conference secretariat latest by 1700 hrs of 31st December 2008, failing which their application will not be considered for the bursaries. Please note that the applications for the travel bursaries will only be considered after the online abstract submission begins and the decision of the organizing committee shall be final for the allotment of the travel bursaries.
